Poppy’s Asian Tour: Thailand
On April 6th at Pop Bubble Tea we embark on Poppy's Asian Tour! First stop, Thailand for Thai Milk Tea - Cha Nom, 泰式奶茶 ! A traditional and vegan version of Thai Milk Tea, served with tapioca, will be added to our menu. Both versions use authentic high-quality loose tea leaf from Thailand, the number one brand of original Thai Tea since 1945.
As part of Poppy's Asian Tour we also want to share some love about our own community - in this case, a delicious Thai restaurant in Arden, called Khao Thai Cuisine! Khao Thai Cuisine is family owned and operated by Karan Kalongrat and his daughter Janjira Kalongrat and is located at 2145 Hendersonville Rd STE A. We have enjoyed their food several times since they opened in 2021 and encourage you to check it out! Here is some information from the owners...
"We decided open Khao Thai Cuisine because we love the Asheville/Arden area. It makes us feel like coming back home, and we wanted to bring some good Thai food to our community. We hope people can have a little casual spot to relax and enjoy some Thai food with their friends and family. Our popular dishes are Red Curry Duck, the appetizer Curry Puff, Pad Kee Mow Noodle, Panang Curry, and Spicy Fried Rice. There are vegetarian and gluten free options too."
Poppy's Asian Tour takes customers on a journey through Asia via a set of special Bubble Tea releases. Each drink will have unique characteristics of the featured place and also link to businesses within our community. Poppy plans to share a new release from a different destination the first Thursday of every month through August.
Customers will also be given a passport to keep track of the stops along Poppy’s Asian Tour. Collect stamps for all locations to earn a prize! More details can be found via Pop’s Social Media, @popbubbletea.
